Tasked by Professor Rishad Irani to create a lab testing machine which would replicate an actual whale, I was project lead of a team working to create a robotic whale.
This machine would be used to create a drone software which would be capable of detecting type of whale by just performing a flyby through a whale’s blow. Our Goal was also to get the protype ready to be used a fourth year capstone project for oncoming students to work on.
The prototype has finished successful air sections tests and is now under phase 2 to develop a water section to complete the blow and also programming a drone for required purpose.
